A dedicated and over-enthusiastic Politics teacher at 6th Form College
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
I studied Politics and International Studies at Warwick University in the 1990s with an interest in international relations and nuclear disarmament. My interests now is UK Parliament - how it works and how effective it is.
After ten years working in corporate communication, I qualified as a teacher at Southampton University and I have worked in a range of secondary schools in the south and I am currently a lecturer at a Sixth Form College. I love hearing the students opinions about how politics and government works.
I think Politics is both brilliant and bonkers and I place a strong emphasis on using current news stories to enhance students understanding of the topics. I have previously been an Edexcel examiner and believe looking at past questions and mark schemes can help lift students grades.
