Vocal and songwriting teacher
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
My teaching method is learner focussed and so I will devise lessons based on your learning style, needs and goals. I have a creative and fun approach. By songwriting we learn so many musical skills such as theory, composition, musicality, vocal and instrument technique, musicology and music technology and recording. I believe the best way to learn is to do.
Singing is a great way to get in touch with our musicality, body and become more confident. I am happy to focus on the voice, improving technique and performance. My degree and practice is focussed around contemporary musical styles including Pop, rock, rnb, soul, blues and folk.
I graduated from BIMM in 2010 with a BMus in Popular MusicPerformance (Vocals) and in 2019 from Bath Spa University with an MA in Songwriting. My main instrument is my voice however I play piano, guitar and Ukelele.
I hold a CACHE level 3 in the Children's and young person's workforce having 6 years experience with early years and some with key stage 2 as a music and art facilitator and early years practitioner. I am currently finishing a Level 3 city and guilds in Education and training focussing on adult education.
