*This year, all of my tutees achieved and A* in A-Level Chemistry*

After working as a Medicinal Chemist (synthetic organic chemist) in the Pharmaceutical industry, in 2015 I was awarded a scholarship from the Royal Society of Chemistry to train as a teacher. 

I have 7 years' teaching experience at Ofsted Outstanding Schools, two of these years include teaching at a grammar school. 

I am supportive, patient and friendly and my teaching style is calm and clear, I like to ask questions to get my students doing the thinking and learning. Sessions usually involve some theory linked tightly to exam technique and terminology, some practice and finishing with some exam questions.

• At A-level my students achieved: 43% grades A*-A, 93% grades A*-C
• At GCSE my students achieved: 31% grade 9, 82% grades 7-9
