A bit about Gemma E

I have 8 iGCSEs ranging from grades A*-B and 3 A-Levels (A* A* B). I am a fully qualified teacher that holds QTS and a fully up-to-date DBS. I have just graduated from Durham University after studying for a BA (Hons) in Primary Education. In September 2022 I will be studying for a Master's in Child Development at University College London (UCL) to extend my knowledge. I specialise in all of the primary-aged subjects ranging from the core subjects through to foundation subjects. I have a particular passion for English and Maths but I enjoy teaching lots of other foundation subjects such as French, History and Geography. I have proficiencies in academic writing, as I achieved the highest overall average in both the second and third years of my undergraduate studies. Hence, I am keen to improve my student's academic writing skills as needed in the form of personal statements and UCAS applications. I live in Cheshire and I have four cats! I will be moving to live in Tottenham this September to commence my Master's degree at University College London. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, walking, drawing, running and spending time with my family and partner! Students have previously said to me that they find my lessons engaging and enjoyable and that I am very patient with their learning needs and any difficulties that they have. I always like to personalise my lessons, which many of my previous students have really enjoyed.
