I am a German tutor since 2013. I love to teach my native language
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
I finished the PTLLS course (Level 4 award in preparing to teach in the lifelong learning sector) at the South Essex College in March 2011 and started
working as a German tutor in 2013.
In 2013 I was hired by Bosch to teach a group of their engineers, so they would be able to communicate with their German clients.
l was helping students with their GCSE’s over the last 4 years in Hall Mead school, a secondary school in Upminster, where I was employed as an LSA and gave private lessons to pupils and adult learners as well.
Since March 2020, during lockdown, I started using Zoom and other video conferencing with my private students and joined Microsoft Teams lessons for Hall Mead school to continue helping our students with their GCSE’s.
I really enjoy teaching and it is lovely to see when students explore and get interested in learning a different language and culture.
Where do I go from here?
You can send Elke Priesen a message through Sherpa and they will usually get back to you within 24 hours. You'll receive an SMS and email notification when they do so.
How do the introductions work?
Sherpa gives you the opportunity to meet our tutors in a free 20 minute introduction, which takes place through the Sherpa classroom.
How do lessons work?
All lessons take place through Sherpa's online, industry-leading classroom. This is a combination of a collaborative, real time whiteboard and a video call, like Zoom.
