Experienced teacher/tutor/senior examiner with thirty years experience
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
I am a retired Head of Chemistry so I have having a great deal of experience teaching both A level and GCSE to these levels. I am currently a senior examiner for the IBO and, in the past, I have marked for the OCR, Edexcel, and WJEC boards.
I was, for a number of years, the senior examiner for a group of universities called the Northern Consortium and, a question writer and examiner for the CIE international examination board. I achieve consistently excellent results. If, need be, I can validate all my qualifications.
Being a chemist is what I am. I teach chemistry to A level (and physics and maths to GCSE level) – that`s all I do. I don`t teach biology, 11+, personal statements, `medicine` or any other subject.
I can, if need be, tutor you for a few lessons on specific topics within the GCSE mathematics/chemistry syllabus so that you do not have to commit to a complete year`s tuition.
I only teach 1-2-1 online. I am DBS certified (twice). I have either worked either in analytical or research laboratories or taught chemistry all my working life. I know the examination system intimately having examined for many years
If you think I can be of help, then please contact me through this site and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Keep well and safe.
