A bit about Rashmi H

I am in awe of all things tech; and the math behind it. I am studying master's in cybersecurity. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering, first class with distinction. I have a strong practical foundation in mathematics and physics. The English language is both fascinating and terrifying for a non-English speaker. I know the effort that goes into perfecting the language and I would love to help someone do the same. I have an IELTS score of 8/9. My lessons will consist of covering the prerequisites for the topic in the initial minutes of the class. Then diving into the subject matter with as much depth as is required for a major chunk of the time. Next comes, solving examples. To implement what has been learnt, the student must be able to solve a real-world problem based on the topic. Finally, I always end with where, when and how the topic at hand is used in our daily lives. It is essential for the student to grasp the importance and implications of what they are learning. During the pandemic, all schools were shut down. I was volunteering with a great group of people running a non-profit organisation for kids. We set up all the technology required to teach online, in the orphanage that we were funding. I was teaching underprivileged children Science, Maths and English. Keeping them on their toes throughout the session was my challenge. Soon, older kids, who were 14 to 16-year-old students heard about our teaching and they wanted to join us as well. I taught these secondary school students who were extremely grateful for all the help they could get during those tough times.
