I am a qualified primary school teacher with over 4 years experience teaching in a primary school. I am also a TEFL certified teacher, qualified to teach English as a foreign language. I have a BA joint honours degree in History and Music and a PGCE in Primary Education. I have had experience teaching SEN children, including children with autism. I love teaching and supporting people to achieve their goals, whatever they may be. I specialise in primary education, including Maths, English, Science, History, Geography and Music. I can help you to prepare for specific tests, or just assist your general progress in a subject. I also specialise in English as a foreign language. I can help you with conversational English, or with specific grammar points. My lessons will be tailored to your individual needs, learning style and personal interests. We will discuss what you want to get out of the sessions and I will plan them to match. I am very flexible, and will adapt and change lessons to suit students so that they will get the most out of them. I am a patient, friendly and flexible teacher. I have a quiet and calm teaching style, which helps students to feel comfortable and relaxed. I encourage students to be as independent as possible and to adopt a growth mindset, using any mistakes as valuable learning experiences. I try to build my lessons on the interests of my students as much as can, to make them relevant, fun and engaging!
