A bit about Dan N

A master of making the most complex topics easier to understand. I'm all about about delivering the highest quality explanations so that my pupils leave with a solid grasp of the content. My teaching style is backed by research so you can be confident that everything I do has been proven to boost grades. I have taught biology, chemistry and physics at KS3 and KS4, using both AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I am also a fully qualified A-level biology teacher currently using the OCR specification. Last year I attended a 4 day residential course at the STEM centre (University of York) designed for A-level teachers looking to perfect their practice. My teaching style ensures that my pupils feel successful in science. I have seen pupils who start out with low confidence begin to believe in themselves, become more ambitious, and achieve results they didn't think were possible. Showing people that science can be 'for them' is why I do the job. There is no better feeling.
