I love to teach art skills to all sorts of people, but particularly to people who have always wanted to learn to paint or draw but are a bit nervous to jump in and try.

My lessons will teach you the basics, then help you build your skill and creativity so you can start to find your own particular creative path.

I studied art at University of Wales, Aberystwyth, then had a long gap from art whilst raising my family. 

After serious illness I coached myself back to being a working artist, investigating many mediums and subjects and taking tuition from some of the world's best painters.

I had to overcome crippling confidence issues, and that's why I'm passionate about teaching others and helping others to find their artistic voice whilst giving them the knowledge and opportunity to progress technically. 

My methods are tried and tested on adult learners of all abilities.

I teach drawing, art concepts, and painting in watercolour, acrylics and oil paint. My absolute passion is painting people and portraits, and I love to share my knowledge on the subject.
