Newly qualified doctor who will help you by sharing his experience
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
I am a newly qualified Doctor from the University of Buckingham (2 distinctions, 1 merit, founder & former president of neuroscience society), and I will utilise my interest in medicine, cognitive neuroscience, cognitive psychology and previous tutoring experiences to help your student reach their aspirations in the following subjects: • Biology • Chemistry • Mathematics • Personal Statements • English as a 2nd language (Currently completing a CELTA accredited English Tutor Course) • Self Development, motivation, productivity and confidence
My satisfaction comes from helping students achieve their goals. I was known by previous medical and primary school students as a motivator as well as someone who would simplify complex topics while giving refreshing but highly effective advice. We received great feedback from previous tutoring events due to this. Furthermore, my assistance in memorisation techniques, thinking techniques and procrastination avoidance is currently helping my younger sister (8th grade) to achieve top grades in all subjects (except PE).
Between completing IB (equivalent to A levels) and going to Medical School, I did 1 year of tutoring at primary school between years 1-7. I tutored groups of students in all subjects after school hours as part of the homework help that was offered by the school. Additionally, I acted as a substitute teacher during school hours and would deliver engaging lessons to classes of 20-30 pupils. I then went on to study Medicine at the University of Buckingham where I organised two tutoring events for other medical students, helping them to pass their exams. As I am a qualified medical doctor, I would be more than happy to teach you what I know about medicine, the medical school system and how to navigate towards a medical career. Furthermore, I am now completing a level 5 TEFL qualification where I learn how to teach English.
I can help you achieve your desired result in your A-level exams, GCSE and 11+ exams. I can also help you achieve the extensive requirements of getting accepted into a UK Medical School.
My teaching philosphy mirrors my overall philosphy in life: Generate as much value for others as possible and understand what others want, in order to help them achieve it. This is why I am a big proponent of Empathy, integrity, trust and reliability in my teaching philosophy.
