Qualified Teacher offering patient, professional tutoring online
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
I qualified as a teacher in 2003 after completing a Master's degree. I have experience of teaching and tutoring students in private schools and state schools. I am an examiner and moderator for a examination board and am familiar with methodologies to ensure success in the GCSE examinations and provide specialist programmes for any area of Chemistry or General Science that the student requires help with.
Chemistry and Physics at GCSE and Advanced level.
I firstly conduct a preliminary lesson with the tutee whereby I check the current understanding and discuss with the student which topic(s) they would like tutoring in. If the assessment indicates that the student could benefit by having tuition in other topics then this will be discussed. In the following session the tuition session will have a QA session to recap previous learning and then the objectives will be shared and topics the student wants me to go over will also be discussed.
I started tutoring in 2003 when I qualified as a school teacher.
