You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
I am a passionate teacher and really care about helping children and adults to progress in their current level of education. In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors including walking and camping. I also adore the theatre and am looking forward to returning once again after lockdown!
KS1 and KS2 Maths, English and Science. All level EAL/ESL/TEFL speaking lessons, business English and conversational English classes available upon request.
I plan my lessons according to the needs of the students. However, you can always be sure that any lesson you have with me will be well structured, engaging, educational, and very fun!
I first began my career in teaching back in 2005 when I trained to teach English as an additional language. After graduating, I moved to South Korea to teach English as an additional language to all aged and level children, as well as adults. On return to the UK, I qualified as a Primary school teacher where my passion for education continues.
I am a friendly, approachable and patient teacher with an experience and understanding of supporting pupils' learning. This includes working with children of special educational needs. I therefore cater for all students' individual needs and abilities when I am creating helpful and supportive lesson plans.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies, PGCE primary education with qualified teacher status, and extensive EAL/TEFL training.
Students love the fact my lessons are structured to be supportive yet enjoyable. They are offered at a pace that is suited to them.
