A bit about Elaine F

I specialize in helping students to pass essay based examinations, such as the 11+, 13+ and university entrance examinations. I can help you with coursework, IELTS examinations, research based presentations and academic writing. I can teach you how to write an essay with confidence. I qualified as a teacher 27 years ago and I've been tutoring alongside my full time job My lessons are structured to meet the needs of individual students. Each lesson is different. Usually, I include video clips, pictures and other forms of interest, in order to capture the imagination of my students. The lesson is divided into different parts and is highly interactive, requiring students to be active learners. I have been a teacher for 27 years and have taught in the UK, China, Oman and Nepal. I'm passionate about education and helping students to achieve their goals. I enjoy travel, walking by the sea and making my own clothes.
