A bit about Joanne M

I am currently a Senior Lecturer in Education and have worked as a teacher/advisory teacher and lecturer for 26 years. As a parent, I know how important it is to get the right support for your child. My degree is German and Dutch but I am a fully qualified German and French teacher (QTS and with DBS). My main subject area is German and I can tutor up to and beyond A-Level. I have designed my own course to teach Ab Initio German and have taught this for the past five years to postgraduate trainee teachers. I have taught up to GCSE French and am able to effectively tutor, as I work closely with trainee teachers in this language and guide their teaching and planning on a daily basis. I also teach my students on the expectations and demands of GCSE and A-Level examinations and moderate pieces of work at this level with them. I specifically have a good working knowledge of AQA papers. I am a fully qualified German and French teacher (QTS and with DBS). I can tutor German to A-Level and above and French to GCSE, specifically the AQA syllabus. I also have experience of teaching history. I am reliable and approachable and have high standards.
