A bit about Ian M

I consider myself a specialist in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). I have studied this up to Master's level. My PGCE is also in SEND. I have hasd the opportunity to work within a Further Education College supporting learners through different subjects including Art, Maths, English, PSHE, Lego Club. I also work to apply practices of personal, social, and emotional development. Providing coping skills, empowering learners to effectively manage and regulate their emotions. Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Level 6, Teacher Training). Special Educational Needs M.Ed. Often learners come to our college lacking confidence. It is such a pleasure to see them settle in grow and thrive. Positive interactions and learning from them. Supporting them as they journey through their qualification, embedding new learning along the way. Seeing the connection between what they are learning and their lives.
