A bit about Gemma

I am a fully qualified teacher and have worked in 4 different schools all over the UK. I specialise in Humanities subjects and I believe that great lessons should make you think, debate and go away with new thoughts. In my spare time I enjoy reading, looking after my son and gardening. Being a tutor is such a wonderful job, the benefit of tutoring vs the classroom is the time and 1-1 nature that I can give. I am dedicated to building a lesson catered to your specific needs and challenges, I then can adapt my teaching style and lesson ideas to help you achieve and surpass your goals. I have experience teaching KS3, GCSE and A-Level students in a variety of subjects, mostly in Humanities. I have taught in AQA, OCR and Edexcel exam boards. I am also a marker for AQA GCSE. I have a BAHons 2:1 degree and also a PGCE with QTS.
