A bit about Nathaniel F

My background is in teaching art and design at secondary school level, and I now teach levels 3, 4 and above at university where I deliver courses in art, design, photography, animation and film and media production. I also teach aspects of academic practice and theory. I teach aspects of fine art and design including drawing, painting, printing, photography and graphic design. I also teach elements of film and media production, narrative and animation. I like creating engaging sessions that encourage independent learning and development through structured lessons that encourage experimentation. I receive positive feedback on both my online and face-to-face teaching. I have tutored informally for over fifteen years in parallel to my teaching in schools and universities. I have been an artist in residence in two secondary schools where I supported students and developed community art projects and worked on projects with inner-city children during school holidays.
