A bit about Elena S

Originally from Tbilisi, Georgia I am a naturalised British citizen. Russian is my native language but I speak five languages in total: English (near native), French (fluent), Spanish (fluent) and Georgian (conversational). I am a qualified teacher and I currently teach in a leading independent school. I am a friendly approachable tutor. I have been teaching and tutoring for over 20 years. In 2017 I also spent six months living and working in France. I then moved to the Isle of Man in March 2018 and continued to tutor in languages before then securing my current teaching post. French Spanish Russian English as a Foreign Language I always tailor my lessons to learners' individual needs and make sure my pupils are interacting and engaged. I cover a wide range of language acquisition skills e.g. reading, writing, listening and speaking. 1998 I love seeing pupils achieve and seeing them achieve a sense of fulfilment. I am a believer in student centred learning methods which help ensure students are actively engaged in their learning.
