- Achieved 13A* at GCSE (Maths, English Language, English Literature, French, Spanish, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, History, Religious Studies, Latin, Ancient Greek). - Achieved 3A* & 1A at A-Level (English Literature, Maths, Latin, French). - Experienced GCSE, A-Level and Oxbridge Admissions Tutor for 4 years.
I am currently studying for a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). I am also fluent in French (second maternal language). I have 4 years experience helping students with their GCSEs, A-Levels, Oxbridge Admissions Tests & Interviews, KS3 & KS4, as well as in primary school education. I am also particularly knowledgeable about the Oxford TSA & PPE application process, having applied and been interviewed 3 times myself (TSA scored 78, 88, 92)
My teaching style is military, methodical and rigorous. I am keen for my students to understand the key concepts step-by-step and to enhance their ability to apply the concepts they learn to tougher, more complex scenarios. If my students struggle understanding the relevant concepts, I encourage them to look at problems differently or help them to approach questions from a different angle. I constantly test my students' understanding and methods with harder, multi-dimensional problems, to ensure long-lasting progress.
