A bit about Rebecca R

Hi! My name is Rebecca and I am just finishing my MA Interpreting and Translation at the University of Bath. I am half German and have lived in both Germany and France. I have been tutoring now for 5 years and have lots of experience. I know language learning can be tough so I'm here to make it as fun and interesting as possible! Unsurprisingly, I specialise in French and German but, while not only covering GCSE and A-level exams, I also teach in preparation for the IB and CEFR exams. If you don't want to sit exams and just learn for the fun of it that's completely fine too! I also have experience teaching both languages from scratch so I'm the person to go to if you want to pick up French or German. I am very student based, so I tailor my sessions to what you need. My focus is making sure you feel comfortable using your language. Over our tutoring journey I will learn where you struggle and direct you through this, but a lot of the time you will have complete freedom to tell me what you want to do and where you feel like you need help. I try and introduce variety through interactive exercises and youtube videos alongside the traditional language learning approach.
