A bit about Deepti M

I've just graduated from Warwick University this year studying English Literature and Business. Through my A Levels, I have studied Maths, English Literature and Physics and have loved all three fields - even if they are very different! That's why I always teach my lessons with variety, fun and ensure a high standard across the board. I specialise in English Literature, Maths and Physics. As a result of my educational background, I can also focus in both Statistics and Mechanics too! I have been tutoring 11+, KS3, GCSE and A Level students for 4 years, all in various topics. All lessons start with homework feedback, an outline of the plan and worksheets provided by myself. I will then talk through the worksheet with you and, based on your comfort, allow you to individually work through the sheets. We will then go over these in detail with tailored homework set at the end of the hour. I first started tutoring when I was 16 years old - focusing on 11+ only. After entering university, I have taught through two of my three years at various levels. I have even volunteered and represented my university by teaching after-school sessions at local secondary schools. For English, I have always loved the various perspectives you can get. Together, we will hold discussions and get you thinking in ways you hadn't previously considered, hence widening your understanding. In comparison, I love the logic and consistency Maths and Physics provide and how one method can be applied in various scenarios and questions. Every lesson is tailored to you! I always encourage that you raise any problems you have and together we work out which method is the most effective for your learning. Between games, worksheets and Kahoots, I will always make sure that whatever method we decide on still ensures you are expanding your horizons. Seeing students develop is the most rewarding. I will sometimes refer back to previous, but similar, pieces of work and help students see how far they have come. If I can be proud of how well you are doing, you should be too! At GCSE, across Maths, Physics and English I received all A*s. I teach English and Maths at A Levels, subjects that I have also received A*/A in. I have now completed my Undergraduate BA in English Literature at the University of Warwick. I have played the Violin for years and also love music! Tennis and F1 are other hobbies but I'm always trying to find new hobbies so if we can find a way to incorporate some of yours into lessons then that would be fun too! AQA for Physics (Year 7-11) OCR and AQA of Maths (Year 7-13) Edexcel, AQA and OCR for English Literature (Year 7-13 and Undergraduate)
