I'm a qualified Primary School Teacher and English as a Foreign Language Teacher who has taught for over 4 years in mainstream UK primary schools and English schools in Spain and Italy.  

I trained as a primary school teacher in 1993 and worked for 4 years at a primary school near Gatwick Airport and a number of schools in West London.  In 1996 I did a TEFL (English as a Foreign Language) course and I then went to teach in Italy and Spain in two English schools.  

I have also taught in an English academy in Barcelona and also taught English to private students in Barcelona, including preparing 17 year olds for their Cambridge FCE 'First' English exams. 

Outside of teaching I like sport and enjoy running.  I also like football and have been the manager of a men's football team (Kew Antigua FC) for 19 years (19 years without getting the sack - that must be a record for a football manager !).  I also like learning languages and have learnt Italian and Spanish and am currently studying Portuguese. 

I am a 'jack-of-all- trades' in terms of school subjects and can teach all the subjects in the National Curriculum (English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, Design Technology etc etc etc).
