I am particularly enthusiastic about working with children, which has been emphasised by my experience of working as a class teacher, tutor, supply teacher, babysitter and nanny.
Two years ago, I completed my degree in Primary Education at Oxford Brookes University and qualified as a primary school teacher. I am eager to use my teaching skills in supporting primary-aged children with their engagement and success in learning.
I have a strong ability to plan lessons that motivate students to learn and ensure their progress in learning. I am also able to adapt lessons as I teach them and reflect on my teaching in order to continually develop professionally.
I have received very positive feedback from the two students I have previously tutored, and believe this is because I tailored my lessons to the students’ interests and preferred ways of learning.
I aspire to be a tutor who enables their students to develop a love of learning and succeed in reaching their full potential.

How do lessons work?
All lessons take place through Sherpa's online, industry-leading classroom. This is a combination of a collaborative, real time whiteboard and a video call, like Zoom.
