Tell us a bit about yourself.

Hello! I'm a fifth year medical student. I chose to delve into this field as I have a passion for Science and Art, medicine is the perfect blend. I understand how revising for exams repetitively and not achieving results can be frustrating.

What do you specialise in?

I was where you are now, and with my experience I hope to make exams a little easier for you. At each jump in education from GCSE's to A levels to University I have had to change the way I study the increasing material and I hope to share these top tips with you. Furthermore, applying for medical school can be daunting and I would love to help make that process less stressful for you.

How do your lessons usually plan out?

Every student revises differently and I think it is crucial to identify what works best for you. The sessions would be tailored in a way that you get the most out of it. This is a safe place to ask questions in areas you struggle with or could be transformed into a thorough teaching session. With the correct resources I could adapt the material to fit your exam board and help you reach your potential. I found that past papers worked best for me and are the key tool to getting the extra marks. I am happy to provide you with material, mark it once completed and go through it with you along with the mark scheme to ensure you are hitting the key points. This is also a great way to check we are making progress.

When did you first start tutoring?

Two years ago!

What do you love most about teaching your subject?

Maths becomes enjoyable when you truly understand it, it's like a satisfying puzzle. I hope I can help you to see it the way I see it! I didn't find Chemistry interesting till I was taught by an enthusiastic teacher which really changed my results. I hope to share my love for it with you. I have always had a passion for biology but struggled to achieve the grades until I found the best exam technique, I hope to share these tips with you!

What is your teaching style?

Every student revises differently and I think it is crucial to identify what works best for you. The sessions would be tailored in a way that you get the most out of it. Most of my lessons consist of checking and chunking the theory and then testing that knowledge with fun exam-style questions.

What is your favourite thing about being a tutor?

I love when I can see that the passion I share for the subjects is being mirrored by the student. It is extremely satisfying to see results and progress over the lessons.
