A bit about James T

I specialise in providing rapid improvement and understanding within mathematics. Whether you’re looking for the highest possible grades, or you’re somebody who struggles with maths. I have the ability to help you achieve! I first started teaching, working for a summer school whilst I was still at secondary school; helping to create activities for primary transition students. Since then I have worked in primary schools, completed my secondary PGCE in mathematics and taught for many years. I like to start lessons by checking students are all ready happy with some of the skills that may be needed to achieve an objective. I then like to present information, encouraging questioning and discussion so students feel they have a for, grasp of the subject in hand. I think that modelling is very important and that students should be able to see exactly how “things get worked out”
