I'm a qualified teacher of German and French in the UK and have taught German to A Level in UK schools and at IB.

I've also taught Business English both to groups and one to one for two years.

I speak several languages fluently, but German is the one I'm passionate about.

I'm patient and empathetic and having learnt 5 languages myself, I know what it's like to learn a new language. Most recently I learnt Mandarin Chinese and felt completely lost!

I have a BA Hons in German and Russian from Leeds University, a Masters degree in Mass Communication and a PGCE in Secondary German and French from Manchester Met Uni. I also have a TEFL qualification and experience in private English-language schools.

I have run my own businesses in the sphere of media and communications for many years and retrained as a teacher because marketing and business development was becoming tedious. I love communicating with my students and feel enormous pride in their achievements.
