A bit about Maz

I’m a compassionate, understanding and passionate biochemistry graduate determined to help students improve their grades and achieve their goals. I have experience as a maths, English and science tutor and I’m proud to have helped all my students gain confidence in these subjects. As a Medical Biochemistry graduate I specialise in Biology. I plan my lessons in line with the national curriculum using a variety of textbooks and other resources. With information from the student I can tailor my lessons to target the topics they find difficult and ensure the content is in line with specific exam boards. I first started tutoring last year and I have experience teaching all age ranges. I like to engage students, communicate with them in order to target areas they are weak in and maximise learning by making it fun! I love seeing my students light up when they finally understand a topic that they’ve been struggling with. I am able to teach my students with kindness and humour without compromising their learning. I have a degree in Medical Biochemistry and I am a trainee secondary teacher specialising in Biology.
