An enthusiastic Chemistry tutor with PhD in organic Chemistry
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
Hi, my name is Phillippa and I am 27 years old. I have a PhD in organic Chemistry from the University of Bristol and I carried out my undergraduate degree at the University of Nottingham where I graduated with a 1st class degree with industrial experience. I am passionate about both research and teaching and would look forward to tutoring you. I have extensive experience tutoring KS3, GCSE, A-level and Masters students in Chemistry.
I currently have availability Monday-Friday to tutor you online. I will initially go through the curriculum with you and identify areas and topics that you struggle on. This will help me to plan lessons and identify a tutoring style that will work best for you. I like to teach by making the area as interesting and easy to grasp as possible. I will give lots of examples and go through practice questions to increase your confidence in the topic and help you best prepare for any upcoming exams.
Where do I go from here?
You can send Phillippa C a message through Sherpa and they will usually get back to you within 24 hours. You'll receive an SMS and email notification when they do so.
How do the introductions work?

How do lessons work?
All lessons take place through Sherpa's online, industry-leading classroom. This is a combination of a collaborative, real time whiteboard and a video call, like Zoom.
