A bit about Sue

I enjoy working with young people, and finding creative solutions. I have worked at both primary and senior school levels, teaching projects to engage and enhance the development of both younger pupils, GCSE and A level students achieving considerable success at exam level. A teacher with many successful years full time teaching experience both in this country and abroad; I have worked with Ed-excel , and OCR boards. A degree in Fine Art, a PGCE in Art, I have completed many holiday courses in Art related subjects. These range from summer courses in painting, theatre design and ceramics; -I really love all things arty! I have taught Art in primary, A level and GCSE for many recent years . I am also fascinated with many artists from Renaissance to modern. Helping young people to understand, so that things click; finding how to help each individual to understand and gain momentum in their learning - sharing with them in a way that is both enjoyable and academically successful. I plan my lessons catering to the needs of the individuals concerned. I have spent considerable time developing teaching strategies for the virtual classroom so that the teaching and learning experience is a clear , happy and productive one. I love theatre, tennis, walking-outdoor exercise, ski-ing, travel, meeting friends, gallery visits.
