An enthusiastic, encouraging Qualified Primary School tutor
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
I have experience across the curriculum in both KS1 and KS2 and KS3. I have spent my final years teaching in Year 6 with an above average pass rate in SATS in Maths and English. I understand reading, writing and new mathematical concepts can be hard for children to grasp. I feel confident that with 1:1 support from me, we can close that gap together and help your child move forward with achieving their potential. If your child is looking at taking the 11+ exam, I am here to help your child succeed. I have experience in supporting children in passing the 11+ exam.
I specialise in all subjects across the primary curriculum, that is the joy of being a primary school teacher. I have the confidence and experience in teaching all subjects ranging from reading and writing through geographical understanding and recalling historical facts.
Tutoring sessions will encourage active learning. There will be images to support understanding, Opportunities for children to watch myself model how to achieve the learning objective, talking through each step and opportunities to practice with my support from myself. The main goal is for the child to feel more confident at independently applying the learnt concept by the end of the session.
