I am a first-year Economics undergraduate at the London School of Economics and Political Science. 

• Achieved a maximum score of 45 points in the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) (Higher Level subjects in Maths, Physics, and Economics, and Standard Level subjects in English, French, and Spanish)

• Achieved 10 A*s at GCSEs (Maths, English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, French, German, History, Design and Technology) with A* with distinction in Further Mathematics.

I have 2.5 years of tutoring experience: I mentored younger pupils in GCSE Maths and Science at school for 2 years, helping them improve their understanding of certain topics and their end-of-year exam scores. During the COVID-19 lockdown, I have tutored 2 other students online twice a week for 4 months in GCSE Maths and Physics and IB Maths. 

The primary reason I love to tutor is that it gives me a chance to help students with any topics they feel uncomfortable within Maths, Physics or Economics, enabling them to unlock their full potential. I can empathise with students that find certain topics quite difficult, as I was once in that position too. Often, students need an alternative perspective on a question to tackle it; a perspective that school may not always be able to provide. As a tutor, I hope to be able to provide this perspective to students, enabling them to more easily tackle a question or understand a new concept or topic.
