A bit about Maggie

I tutor both Maths and Economics and have several years of experience with students of all ages. I have tutored Maths from 11+ up to GCSE since 2018 and Economics A Level for the past year. I am currently tutoring a number of students, who will be sitting Edexcel this summer, however I am familiar and comfortable with tutoring all exam boards. I love tutoring Maths and Economics as it's a great way for me to carry on learning as well! I have a genuine interest in both subjects and I enjoy engaging in interesting conversations with students, especially with Economics students, regarding current events that are linked to what we are studying. I am a friendly and approachable person, so there is no question that you cannot ask! I find with a lot of students, it is often just a confidence issue! I believe in all my students and I believe this helps encourage them and do the best that they can. I graduated from the University of Bristol with a 2.1 in Economics. As well as this, I received an A* in French, an A in Maths and an A in Philosophy and Ethics at A-Level.
