A bit about Karim T

I teach English as a second language locally in Essex at present and also worked abroad for 5 years in Azerbaijan. in a IB school. I always try and enjoy life and play guitar and like to spend time with my family outdoors and at home. ESL (grammar,writing structure.speaking) GCSE English + primary level-rading and writing skills I can also teach Geography and climate change learning as I have studied this field in my past work and degree. I can also also coach students in confidence and self belief like mentoring as I have personal experience of seeing how schools/education can cause stress on people which is negative for mental health and needs to be addressed. I first get to know the student's needs and interests in that subject-then we work around the materials needed mainly to help progress. I always tailor each subject to the student and not the other way around. I have taught face to face in both international IB schools and Adult language colleges since 2012 and also begun teaching online in 2020. I enjoy teaching online as it can works around my work/family life.
