A bit about Alice

I have years of experience in teaching and tutoring. I also mark for the Edexcel exam board, for both A-level and GCSE. This informs my teaching - I know just what is needed to pass exams! Students love my enthusiasm for mathematics! Many former students have gone on to study maths at University - I keep in touch with them - I love hearing how they're getting on. Students also love my interactive approach to learning - we make revision tools, conduct experiments, and measure things in the real world. I like to find out what a student knows already, and we start from there. If I can link the learning to what they already know, or what fascinates them, or just what they love, then the new content sticks. An A-level class achieved the best results in the whole school, across all subjects. 4 Bs (higher than they were predicted) and 4 A*s (one student had a prediction of an E).
