A bit about Ayah

I am a student studying Biology. Before university, I carried out a research project during my a-levels and had many hands-on experiences. I've got a background in the performing arts and biology, which can allow me to get more creative when teaching. My main goal is that you enjoy your lessons with me because the more you do the more you learn. Biology! My degree is very broad in biology. I have a passion for biotechnology and DNA sequencing. But I also specialise in chemistry and English literature. In chemistry, I have a passion for organic chemistry! However, I love all things English literature. I have a stater to recap the last session's knowledge or to get a grasp on what your current knowledge level is. I have a main, where we go through the bulk of the content. This is the largest part of the lesson. I finish it off with a plenary, recapping the contents of the lesson and asking for general comments. When I was 14-15 I am currently 19 and work for a tutoring company! Where I regularly have tutor training. I am constantly trying to Improve. I started a tutor grouping high school when I was a prefect. I was the only tutoring system in the school and ran a homework club. I have and always will try to tutor and help out when I can. seeing people grow and improve! I myself didn't excel in academics I wasn't an overly gifted student so I had to adapt and learn my own strength and weaknesses. I had a long journey to improve and I want to be able to guide people through that process so it isn't so hard. I use a discussing teaching style. We work together to answer questions but I ensure engagement. It means lessons don't feel boring but fluid and interactive. Seeing students begin to love their subject. Seeing them grow and excel in ways I know they can and giving them the confidence to believe in themselves. Exams and lessons shouldn't be scary. I want to make it so students go into exams knowing they can pass and they have it in their palms, That it's interactive and fluid I'm willing to adapt to the students needs and learning styles. My student's confidence and seeing them pass their exams with grades they never believed they could get. If they leave my lesson smiling I have done my job if they haven't learnt anything it's not their fault it's mine and I need to improve. 3 A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and English literature. Studying at bristol university for biology. Tutoring for years. I have been in work since I was 16. My own tutor in English. I had given up on my goals of biology and was crushed until I started getting tutored by her and it changed my life. I wanted to help others like she had helped me. Drama, acting, art and more. In my spare time I make rugs and crochet. I sing opera which I have been doing since I was 7. I also spend a lot of my time drawing. KS3- Science, English -AQA GCSE- Biology, Chemistry.
