A bit about Champika

I specialise in teaching mathematics, statistics and Business studies. I first started to teach in 1989 after completing my degree in Mathematics & Computing. I plan my lessons individually to meet the student's learning needs. I explain the concept with the use of examples and provide notes, class exercises, homework and short tests for each topic covered. Teach to a gradient so that the student will enjoy the lesson and gradually grasp the skills with good knowledge in the topic covered. I am Champika Silva and I have over 25 years of teaching experience in schools, colleges and as a private tutor. I have worked in the software development and training sector too. I will bring a variety of learning methods for my students and ensure all my students will reach their potential in the subject I teach. All my students will have total support from me to succeed and will provide career guidance as part of my service.
