A bit about Selen S

Hi! I’m Selen, I achieved 8A*’s and 3A’s at GCSE, including 9’s in English and Maths. I then went on to do A Levels in Chemistry, Maths, and Economics achieving A*A*A*. After completing my A Levels, I applied to study Chemistry, receiving all five offers: University of Oxford, Imperial College, UCL, King’s College, and QMUL. I am currently a Chemistry student at the University of Oxford. Throughout my years of tutoring, I believe I’ve developed competency through tutoring a variety of different students with different capabilities. I’m friendly and passionate and like to assist people in fulfilling their potential. Join me so I can help you fulfill yours! :) In my lessons, I work around your exam board specification and combine the content with exam questions to help you prepare for your upcoming exams! This teaching style is proven to be one of the most effective ways of getting those A's/A*'s. We work together throughout the lessons to tackle the mark scheme and truly understand what examiners are looking for. Many students have done it before you, and so can you! “You were incredibly patient with me, specifically when going over things again and again. You explained super clearly and always explained in different ways so that I properly understood which was super helpful. Also you put in effort to give me exam sheets weekly which was amazing for exam preparation.
