A bit about Benita U

I am a university graduate and I have been tutoring for over 10 years. My goal is to meet your child right at their level and support them as they progress to their next level. My focus is mainly on teaching mathematics. I engage my children by asking them questions, show them my workings and give them the opportunity to practice and they have homework as well. I plan my lessons ahead of time after my first engagement with the children to understand their pain points and generally focus on their specific needs. I also follow the curriculum for primary school in England Over 10 years now. I love teaching maths because it is not boring, my children are often engaged the every time. I love when I see their range of emotions but most importantly their expressions when they are doing well. Interaction is my pain learning style. I ask questions, I give my children a lot of examples and exercises. My approach is learning by doing, the mind is fully activated and utilised I love knowing that I can make a positive impact on someone’s life. Learning is life They get to practice, no question is useless. Teaching people who couldn’t afford to pay me. Some of the children are my friends now and they have gone on to do well in higher education. MSc University graduate I was trying to teach my child but he was not interested until I started teaching other kids from his class and he saw how keen they were to learn and how appreciative they were for helping them prepare for their school tests and learning in general. I am also a life coach I just want to focus on younger children for now (primary school children)
