A bit about Krystina S

I have been teaching across the humanities subjects for 14 years, ranging from KS2 to KS5. I've also worked as an examiner on many occasions for Geography GCSE which is my area of expertise. My career has shown me a range of needs and abilities so that I can now be confident in improving progress and developing resources for all learners. Geography GCSE and KS3 has been my area of expertise, though I also have experience at KS2 primary, KS3 history and Religious Studies and with A Level Geography as well as A Level Politics. My teaching philosophy is that everybody can - and wants to - learn. I believe it's human nature to be curious and to wonder about the world around us. Sometimes the current mainstream educational system does note allow for time or resources to be managed in a way that works best for all learners. In order for an idea to embed in our understanding - to 'click' - we need to be able to have time to explore it. Sadly, 5-6 hours in classrooms with over 30 other people covering upwards of 10 different subjects just doesn't afford us this opportunity. This is where short term (or ongoing) tutoring can be truly valuable.
