A bit about Tom C

I studied Physics at Oxford and I've been teaching Physics, Chemistry & Maths to Oxbridge Entry level for 25+ years. I've worked in the UK, Spain, Hong Kong, China and the Middle East and I've been a Principal at 4 institutions. Even when in leadership roles I've always liked to keep 2-3 hours a week for 1:1 tutoring. I'm an internationally published author in logic and problem-solving and I have over 100,000 students on my online programmes on Udemy. My favourite subjects to teach are Physics and Chemistry to pre-University level. I've also taught Maths and Biology to A Level. I specialise in getting students comfortable with the whole process of learning. MA Oxon Physics, Oriel College, Oxford. PGCE Integrated Science,King's College, London. Proudest moments usually relate to students who've hated a subject at GCSE (often Maths) who end up loving it so much they choose to study it at A Level. Also, students I've taught who go on to study at university always report how much better prepared for independent study they feel, compared to their fellow undergraduates. Especially in relation to learning new things fast, and getting top degree results without having to sacrifice their social life or love of sports.
