Hello everyone. I have undertaken a PGCE in Education at Institute of Education (IOE) in 2013. Since I was in secondary school, I've always wanted to become a teacher. My ambition is to help young minds to get the grade they need in order to pursue their goals in future. I have 7 years of classroom experience both at GCSE and A-level Business and Economics. I fully understand the importance of embedding exam techniques/questions to each lesson as I believe that knowing how to answer exam style question is as important as knowing the theory. I therefore have been able to understand what the examiners are looking for when marking exam answers. I therefore want to pass this knowledge to my students so they understand and answer questions the right way which will get them the full marks.

I have also taken the role of Acting Head of Department which have also helped me to widen my knowledge in running a department and how to fully support student during and after lessons.

I have worked with curriculum that involved AQA, OCR and Edexcel exam boards and have full understanding of their expectations from students when answering exam questions.
