A bit about Aleena

I am a graduate medical student with an undergraduate degree in Clinical Sciences. I have tutored throughout my studies and have experience of working with all ages. I am well informed regarding GCSE science specifications and enjoy helping other students. I have been tutoring for the past 5 years and I am confident in helping you become more knowledgeable and achieving targets. After a discussion regarding strengths and weaknesses, my lessons are focused on targeting the specification with clear aims. I use images, diagrams and plan a quiz or exam questions to consolidate the student's knowledge towards the end of the session. I ensure the student is comfortable and confident with the topic throughout the lesson by highlighting important information and key words. I started tutoring over 5 years ago and have tutored all ages but have particularly been sought out for help with GCSE sciences. I also tutor on other platforms such as MyTutor where you are able to see reviews. I specialise in GCSE Sciences for various exam boards as well as KS3 science. I have extensive knowledge of the each syllabus and focus on exam technique as well as content. I gained a First Class in Clinical Sciences which focused on clinical skills, anatomy, various body systems such as cardiology, neuroscience as well as Economics of Healthcare and Public Health. Currently, I am studying Medicine. I teach year groups 7-11 and have previously taught a variety of exam boards such as AQA, OCR and Edexcel.
