A bit about Rojda K

I first started tutoring during year 1 of my undergraduate degree, giving voluntary lessons as a university mentor to students who lacked support. This involved giving one to one lessons on a variety of subjects and group discussions to help in the application process. My main strengths include Biology and chemistry. I believe the most effective way of teaching is through minimum text by focusing on key points and explanation through diagrams. I constantly connect topics to actively recall previous lessons and throw in questions that have been recently covered. This way the student is able to keep up with a large amount of information whilst having to understand the core of a subject. I have recently graduated from the university of Southampton with a BSc in Biomedical sciences and I am moving on to do masters in pharmacology at University college London. I specialise in Biology and Chemistry. I usually prep before my lessons by finding out what the student wants to specifically go over. Once I find this out I complete diagrams and a list of key points that I will highlight as well as a few questions designed by myself to test their understanding. I love seeing the confidence in students after I explain complex topics in simple ways that they can remember, Science is not difficult if it is taught simply and built up on. Making a real difference in students grades and helping them reach their academic goals!
