English Literature, English Language, Creative Writing and TEFL
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
I have been a teacher and held various management roles in schools including Head of Sixth Form. I have taught across all key stages and have also worked for a local authority as a trainer and education consultant. I have also taught TEFL both in the U.K. and abroad. I am familiar with AQA, OCR and Edexcel Syllabi and assessment. I look forward to supporting you with your studies and exam preparation. I enjoy reading and writing in my spare time to maintain my passion for my subject and impart my knowledge, understanding and experience to you.
I love reading and writing and imparting my passion for literature on to my students so that they can feel enthused about the subject of English rather than merely working towards an exam only.
I have achieved excellent results for both GCSE and A-Level and I have also taught A-Level Creative Writing, Psychology and Communication Studies to put myself in a position of the student learning something from scratch.
I have taught AQA, OCR, Edexcel and WJEC exam board syllabi across my teaching career. I have also prepared students for IELTS (TEFL Teaching).
I teach from the head and from the heart and inspire students to become independent learners and develop an intellectual curiosity that takes them into the world beyond school and college.
I enjoy reading, creative writing, travelling, theatre, film, dancing, music, festivals, concerts, astrology, tarot, wine tasting, walking, and badminton amongst other interests.
