A bit about Russell H

I have an Honours degree in Mathematics and Physics. I also have a PGCE (S) in Maths, Physics and Science. Most importantly, I have lots of experience working with students from all kinds of backgrounds and abilities. I enjoy working with people, especially young people. I love helping to shape a student's future, especially if I am able to help resolve a specific problem in a specific area. Maths and Science can be difficult and it's amazing when a student suddenly 'gets it'. Students love the way I make them feel relaxed and confident. I think it's essential to be in the right frame of mind to learn, and creating an environment where the learner feels safe is one of the most important things. Safe to ask questions. Safe to make mistakes. Safe to be themsleves. I have experience teaching all secondary school ages and levels so no matter what year or board you are studying for please get in touch and hopefully I will be able to help you out.
