A bit about Rebecca B

I am an experienced and highly skilled teacher who has been in the classroom for 16 years. I adapt my resources and lessons to suit all children's needs. I am patient and approachable and my main goal is for pupils to enjoy their learning and overcome any barriers on the way. Worried about SATs? 11 Plus? or just generally catching up? I can help and I am happy to offer my first session at half-price. English, maths and science up to, and including KS2. I make learning fun and interactive and believe a range of resources and lesson styles are the best way to help your child achieve. I always begin with a mini assessment to see where your child is at. From there, I plan the next steps into achievable goals and assess progress as we go along. The learning methods that I use are creative, interactive and enjoyable. I have tutored children for SATs practice as well as taking part in the government 'catch up' scheme to support children who may have fallen behind or lost confidence since COVID and lockdowns hit.
