A bit about Suzanne Cachia

My creative and fun approach, I try to make learning meaningful through modelling enjoyment and passion for the subjects. I hold a CertHE in Microbiology with Immunology. A 2:1 BA (Hons) in English Language. A PGCE in Primary Education with QTS (and post-induction). I have been a classroom teacher across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 for 8 years. I hold a PGDip in Mental Health Support in Education Settings and currently work as an Education Mental Health Practitioner to support children using low-intensity CBT interventions outside of my tutoring role. Family days out with my son. Creative art projects. I run Forest School sessions for children and hold Woodcraft for Wellbeing sessions for adults. I swim in the sea, enjoy snorkelling and scuba diving too. You can often find me in my walking boots exploring the South West Coast Path and listening to various audiobooks or podcasts. I specialise in forming a good working alliance with children and young people to motivate them to want to learn about any subject.
