A bit about Dr. A

I have worked in biological sciences lecturing and research for the past 30 years. My areas of specialization include animal behaviour and equine science. I love interacting with students and having fun whilst passing on knowledge. When I am not working I love to ride my horse and spend time with my family and friends! I specialize in animal science, particularly behaviour, and equine science. I hold a BSc (Hons) in zoology, an MSc in Equine Science and a PhD in Clinical Veterinary Science. I am also a Chartered Biologist. My lectures are traditional but fun with plenty of interaction with students being encouraged to ask questions and become involved in the learning experience! My first lecturing post started in September 1991 at Bishop Burton College of Agriculture followed by a Senior Lectureship from September 1992 - 2003 at Hartpury University. I then became a freelance consultant and lecturer in animal science, animal behaviour, and equine science.
