A bit about Paul L

I am experienced in private tutoring KS3 English and GCSE English Literature. I currently teach GCSE Language and Functional Skills at my institution and have been in the role for 18 months. I have a BA Hons in English Literature and a MA in Creative Writing. I am currently an English Skills Coach at North Hertfordshire College. I am used to working in a one-to-one setting and tailor sessions effectively to stretch and challenge my students. I specialise in GCSE Language, writing and grammar, but am also experienced in lecturing English Literature and KS3 I love everything about English. A book can help us understand more about the world and give us insights into aspects of culture, philosophy, history, society and human nature and I enjoy seeing how many different analytical responses can be produced by different students for one text. I also love the creative writing aspect of English and enjoy the freedom it gives you, the characters you can create and the worlds you can build.
